The 14th edition of our Little Hearts Annual Benefit was once again a night filled with joy, music, dancing, and heartwarming generosity. Even though the sun decided to skip this year’s celebration, the energy and enthusiasm of everyone present more than made up for it. For the first time, part of the event took place indoors at the beautiful Hangar 27 in Edegem, creating an intimate and cozy setting for a truly unforgettable evening.
We kicked things off in the garden with what many guests called “the longest apero of the year”, stretching from 4 PM all the way until 9 PM. The atmosphere was electric from the very beginning – laughter, conversation, and the clinking of glasses set the tone for the rest of the night.
The crowd was treated to a stunning solo guitar performance by Jack, son of Tinneke and Gerrit. Jack is no stranger to the Little Hearts family – the kids in Cambodia know him well from his visits, and his music brought a personal, emotional touch to the evening.
As the sun went down, the real party began. The incredible Baco D’Or, led by the one and only Boog, delivered a vibrant set of covers that had everyone on their feet. Their energy was infectious, and the dance floor quickly filled up. Later, DJ Davidoff and DJ Ax kept the beats going, turning the night into an unforgettable celebration full of fun and friendship.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the many hands and hearts behind the scenes. A huge thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers, and partners who gave their time, resources, and energy to make this benefit a success once again. Special thanks go to Willy and his Cambodian kitchen team, who served up an unforgettable feast, and to Pol and Pat, who led our dedicated volunteer crew with heart and soul.
To everyone who attended, donated, performed, helped set up, cleaned up, supported, and simply showed up – thank you. You have all contributed to something much bigger than a party.
