Yes. The orphanage is a fully-licensed, non-profit NGO in Cambodia and Belgium, relying entirely on the generosity of local and international donors.

Urgent cases are reported by local officials to the welfare department of the Cambodian government. After thorough background checks a request is made for LHO to accept new orphans.

We’ve been working hard to minimize our overheads year-on-year. In 2020, 89% of donations went directly to LHO programs and we continuously aim to improve this ratio.
