On August 7th, 2025, Ilay Meas and Pov Sokhorn (better known as Saradee) had the chance to celebrate their long-awaited graduation ceremony at the Royal University of Fine Arts. Although they both completed their degrees in interior design last year, today was the day they joined their fellow graduates to walk across the stage, marking the official end of their academic journey.

For Ilay, this day was a culmination of years of hard work and determination. “This ceremony was about more than just receiving my degree. It’s about all the ups and downs I’ve faced over the past four years,” she shared. “I wouldn’t be here without the constant support from my Little Hearts family, who have been with me through it all.”
Now, Ilay is stepping into the professional world as a 3D designer at Linda Gold Crucible Company, where she’s been working on jewelry models. Though her job is a bit different from interior design, she’s excited to learn and grow in this new creative space. “It’s a learning curve, but I’m already feeling energized and excited about where this will take me,” Ilay said with a smile.
Saradee, who has been part of the Little Hearts family since she was younger, is now thriving in her first job as a Document Controller at Cambodia Airport Investment Co., Ltd. “I love my job and the confidence it’s given me,” she shared. “I’ve learned so much in the past year, and it’s been an exciting start to my professional life.” Her role involves handling monthly reports on water and electrical meters, and she’s already proving herself to be a valuable asset to the team.

Tony, the founder of Little Hearts, was there to witness this special moment, and his emotions were clear as he reflected on their journey. “It was an incredibly proud moment for me today, seeing Ilay and Saradee graduate. There have been so many struggles along the way, and it’s been tough at times. But then you see them walk across that stage, and it all feels worth it. It’s why we started Little Hearts—to give kids a chance at something better, and to see them grow into young adults with so much promise is a moment I’ll never forget.”
As Ilay and Saradee take their first steps into their careers, we couldn’t be prouder of all they’ve accomplished. Their hard work and resilience inspire us all, and we know this is just the beginning for both of them.
Looking to the Future
Although they’ve moved on to exciting new chapters in their lives, Ilay and Saradee will always be a part of the Little Hearts family. Their success is a testament to the strength of the community that helped shape them. We’ll continue to cheer them on as they pursue their dreams, and we’re eager to see what’s next for these two remarkable young women.
Congratulations, Ilay and Saradee—your journey is just beginning!
